一、篇章结构
1.中心思想
The story tells us Clare,Mrs Flower’s step-daughter,and Tom Goode,Mrs Flower’s nephew, tried their best to get the money left by Mrs Flower. The famous detective J.J. Coal employed by Tom found out the real Clare was dead and her roommate Hope Darwin tried to get Mrs Flower’s money by taking a false name. In the end neither false Clare nor Tom got the money. The money went to an organization“Helping Hand”for helping the blind. So we can infer from the story that if you are an honest and moral person and obey laws, you will be successful, otherwise, you won’t.
