Once there were three li
ttle butterfly brothers,
 one white, one red, and
 one yellow. They played
 in the sunshine, and da
nced among the flowers.
 They never grew tired be
cause they were so happy
. One day, there came a
heavy rain, and it wet t
heir wings.
 
三只小蝴蝶，他们是兄弟，
一只白色的，一只红色的，
还有一只黄色的。他们一起
在阳光下玩耍，在花园的花
丛中飞舞。

 

 他们从不觉得累，因为他们
过得很开心。一天，天空突
然下起了大雨，淋湿了他们

 and they grew wetter an
d wetter.
 They flew to a red and y
ellow tulip, and said, “
Friend Tulip, will you o
pen your flowers and let
 us in till the storm is
 over?”
 
他们急忙飞回家去，可是当
他们飞到家门口的时候发现
钥匙不见了。他们不得不呆
在门外，身上被雨淋得更湿
了。

 

 他们飞到一株红黄相间的郁
金香前说道：“郁金香朋友
，你能张开你的花朵让我们
躲避一下暴风雨吗？”

 white one must not come
 in.”
 But the red and yellow b
utterflies said, “If our
 white brother must not
go into your flowers, we
'll stay outside in the
rain with him.”
 
郁金香回答说：“红色和黄
色那两只蝴蝶可以进来，因
为他们看起来像我，可白色
的那只不许进来。”

 

 但红、黄两只蝴蝶说：“如
果我们白色的那个兄弟不能
进去的话，那我们就和他一
起呆在外面好了。”
